Overview

Meet the OHK! The newest member of the Wildhut family, which was developed specially to meet requests from sauna lovers who were unwilling to cut corners on the quality of their sauna experience but who had small urban gardens. The OHK is built to the same uncompromising build specifications as it's bigger siblings, but every detail has been thought through by our designer so that it delivers the maximum benefits with the minimum impact on your garden space. Unlike our other saunas, which come with the option of a porch, this small but perfectly formed two person luxury sauna keeps its innovative small footprint by offering an optional shower next to the door of the sauna rather than in a porch. There is room in the OHK for two people to sit comfortably. (If you wish to lie down you should consider a TULI).

Quality is built in to every part of the design and build process of a Wildhut sauna. We simply refuse to compromise if we think the experience of owning and using your sauna will be affected. Our vision is for the sauna to blend effortlessly into its surroundings, looking like it could always have been there. For it to become a treasured part of your life and family for many years, and not just a passing phase. This is the reason we believe that, while a Wildhut sauna is more expensive than some saunas out there, it is the best, most sustainable choice in the long run and that - as a bonus! you will experience a calming sigh of pleasure every time you step in to your aromatic, reliable, well designed space.

The same unique, timeless Wildhut aesthetic as the rest of the Wildhut family, enclosing cutting edge CLT sauna build technology which is built to last
Optional hardwood duckboard at the entrance. This is made to the same high specification as the rest of our saunas and is engineered to last outside in all weathers for many years from exterior grade cedar.
Choice of alder or cedar interior cladding - both top grade and thermally stable but cedar is often considered more atmospheric and aromatic.
Modern stylish electric heater (no wood fired option on this sauna), which can be remotely controlled via an app on your way home
Optional bluetooth speaker system
Adjustable specialist warm backrest lighting and atmospheric spotlight over stove.
Choice of a long letter box window, to give a more private cocooning space, or a larger picture window to bring the light, the view and the outside in
Shower can be plumbed into both hot and cold mains water, for cooling between sweats, and for when you just fancy a wild outdoor shower. It's amazing what a wonderful experience you can now fit into the smallest of spaces!
Delivered fully assembled or via a modular system - unique to Wildhut - that we have successfully developed with in conjunction with top sauna engineers, to enable access for installation through a house or via narrow access situations. Now you can have a luxury sauna with no compromise in quality where you hadn't thought it possible..

Dimensions

The sauna measures 1.6m W x 1.65m L x 2.5m H. This is specifically designed to be outside of the requirements for planning permission in the UK (but please check your local rules).
The longest bench in the Ohk is 1.2m, perfect for two to sit comfortably. If you want to lie down we recommend you look at a larger model. See the floor plan in the gallery below.

Technical Information

The sauna will be installed on a concrete pad tailored specifically to your sauna choice, which will be pre-installed by your team. We provide detailed plans. In most cases a single phase electricity supply and mains water will need to be connected. We support you with this process so that the final installation is seamless.

The sauna can be delivered either fully assembled by lifting it into place, or built in-situ by our skilled team, allowing a sauna to be built in gardens with no craning access.

We will help with every step of the process, and have lots of experience. It's not as daunting as it might sound!

Our beautiful sauna stoves feature traditional sauna stones, no matter the energy source, and can be fitted with an optional mobile app WiFi solution for remote controlling your sauna.

High specification single strip specialist sauna LED lighting

Our saunas can reach very high temperatures, so it is necessary to use specialist equipment specifically developed for high heat and humidity. Unlike infrared saunas, our traditional outdoor saunas are heated with stoves and the lighting is soft and warm.
